As part of the JuneShine Brands platform, this role sits at the intersection of virtual commerce, regulation and market expansion. As our Senior eCommerce Manager, youâll oversee eCommerce partnerships like GoPuff and Doordash, navigate state-by-state regulations, and architect compliant strategies to scale access nationwide, beginning in California. If youâre energized by complexity, partnership building, and turning regulatory challenges into growth opportunities, this is your role.\nWho You Are: Strategic problem-solver who navigates regulatory complexityEntrepreneurial and resourceful, finds legal solutions to market access challengesDeep understanding of the three-tier system and DTC dynamicsExperienced partnership builder with e-commerce retailersComfortable with ambiguity in fast-paced startup environmentsStrong collaborator across sales, marketing, and operationsOpen to remote locations, but preferred locations are FL, TX, IL, TNWhat You'll Do: Ecommerce Strategy & Market Access: Develop and execute strategy to maintain consumer access in markets where DTC shipping is restrictedIdentify and implement legal workarounds through third-party ecommerce retailersLead California market strategy as first priority, then scale playbook nationallyNavigate complex state-by-state D9 THC regulations to maximize market coverageRetailer Partnership Management:Build and supervise strategic partnerships with leading eCommerce retail platforms (GoPuff & DoorDash)Negotiate terms, promotions and distribution to expand availability and accelerate growthOptimize performance across platforms, including assortment, promotions and customer experienceCross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with Sales, National Accounts, and Regional teams to align eCommerce with market strategies and executionCollaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain to execute campaigns, manage inventory and ensure fulfillment Provide regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to the President/CCOMarket Intelligence & Problem-Solving:Stay ahead of evolving D9 THC ecommerce regulations and competitive industry trendsIdentify market gaps and develop creative, compliant solutions to reach new consumersTest, learn, and iterate on new eCommerce models and partnerships Must Haves: 21 years of age or older at the time of applicationMinimum of 4 years experience in eCommerce, digital commerce, marketplace management or revenue-driving electronic, with at least 2 in a lead capacityMinimum of 2 years experience in regulated categories (alcohol beverage, tobacco, nicotine or similar)Hands-on experience with ownership of 3rd party eCommerce platforms or retail partners (eg; GoPuff, DoorDash, Instacart, Minibar, Amazon, etc.)Experience operating within regulated, state by state compliance frameworksStrong pricing and commercial decision-making skills, including experience managing state-level pricing, taxes, promotions, and margin considerations across digital channelsWorking proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets sufficient to manage pricing, catalogs, and performance reporting (advanced modeling not required)Nice to Haves: Understanding of beverage distribution models and wholesaler networksExperience working cross functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Supply ChainExperience navigating alcohol, tobacco, nicotine, or D9 THC regulatory constraints in eCommerceComfort presenting performance commercial performance insights and recommendations to senior leadershipExperience with analytics tools or data sources (eg VIP, IRI, Nielsen, CRM systems)Strong problem-solving mindset in complex, ambiguous, or fast-changing regulatory environmentsCommercially minded with an understanding of how pricing, availability, and visibility drive digital revenue growthCompensation, Perks + Benefits: Compensation:$125,000 - $135,000 per yearThe final offer will be based on several factors, including experience, skills, and overall expertisePerks + Benefits:Unlimited Paid Time OffHealthcare coverage: up to 90% corporation contribution for employees and 25% for dependentsVoluntary vision, dental, and accidental plans401(k) with up to 4% company match12 weeks of paid Equal Parental Leave, $500 Baby Bonding Bucks, and a sustainable baby giftBooch, spirit, beer, and soft good perksAnd more!\nWho We AreOur Purpose: To make quality, purpose-driven beverages Our Business: Our vision is to create the next-generation beverage platform, comprising distinct brands, each with its own ethos and purpose.
